A Sneaky Sign from Beyond the Rainbow Bridge
Your weekly dose of chaos, catitude, and care.
🐾 FUR THE LOLS 🐾
(Because living with a cat is already a full-time sitcom.)
It’s the internet, so here’s what you really came for:
#1 This Week in Cat Chaos
When a spa sign feels like a meow from beyond. 💫
Hannah Wilson was moving out of her NYC apartment a year after saying goodbye to her beloved cat, Sunny — when she spotted a sign across the street that read “Sunny Relaxing Spa.” Was it fate? A wink from the universe? A subtle nudge from the Rainbow Bridge? Whatever it was, it hit home.
Her story quickly went viral on TikTok, with thousands of fellow cat lovers sharing tears, heart emojis, and “same here” moments. Now, Hannah honors Sunny by adopting a new cat named Samson (which means “sunny”) and keeping little sun-themed tokens as daily reminders.
✨ Sometimes, the signs we need are right in front of us — bold, glowing, and just a little bit fuzzy.
Inspired by the true story of Hannah Wilson, as featured on People.com & TikTok.

We’re not saying this was drawn from experience… but it was.
#3 Cat Cartoon of the Week
We already knew cats were magical — but this comic made it official.

#4 Poll Meow-ment: The Sick? Or Just Dramatic?
🧠 Feline Fact: Cats Are Basically Furry Actors With Zero Chill
Did you know? 9 out of 10 cat parents agree their feline friends are either plotting an Oscar-worthy breakdown or maybe trying to tell us something’s off.
From the strategic litter box boycott to the classic “I shall now become blanket” disappearance, our cats are masters of vague symptoms and maximum drama.
And yes, sometimes it’s just vibes. Other times? It’s a sign.
Always trust your gut—and your vet.
🎭 Is it attention-seeking? Illness? Revenge?
We’ll let you decide — vote in this week’s poll and help us decode the drama.
*Not scientifically proven. Just emotionally confirmed by cat people everywhere.
How does your cat definitely tell you they’re sick (or just bored) |
Make way — royalty has been spotted lounging on a floral throne.
#5 Cat of the Week: Maisie Mae
Maisie Mae didn’t just pose — she served. From the perfect head tilt to that soft stare that says “you’re my whole world, hooman” — she had us all melting faster than a treat left in the sun. 🥲💕
When Jaynie dropped this gem in the group, chaos ensued. Reactions blew up. Comments rolled in. And we all collectively agreed: Maisie is that girl. Regal. Soft. Possibly judging us. And we love her for it.

📸 Spotted and adored in the wild chaos of the Fur the LOLs Group, thanks to Jaynie McClain!
Got a cat who’s got the same main character energy? Post in the group — we’re watching, and we’ve got treats. 🍗👀
Chaos, you sent, chaos we cherish.
#6 Paw-spectives from Last Week
The Great Lap Injustice
When does your cat finally decide your lap is worthy?
We asked, and the results are in — and honestly? They’re so on brand.
🥇 Winner: “As soon as you’re about to get up”
Because obviously, your lap is only precious when it’s inconvenient. 50% of y’all feel this exact betrayal in your souls. 💔🪑
Other top contenders:
🧘 “When you’re meditating (ruined)” – inner peace? Denied.
💻 “Right in the middle of a Zoom call” – surprise butt in frame!
🐈 “Never. You are but a footstool.” – ouch, but relatable.
Moral of the story? Cats have impeccable (and infuriating) timing. 😼⏰
Got an idea for a future poll? Drop it in the Group — we’re taking suggestions (and emotional support).
Thanks for voting! This week’s poll is live — go interrogate your cat 📝
A tip for keeping your chaos machine healthy.
#7 Purr-fessional Care
😾 Hairballs Happen — But Should They?
Let’s talk about those unexpected gifts on your carpet. While the occasional hairball is normal (gross, but normal), frequent hacking might be a sign something’s off.
If your cat is coughing up fur sausages more than once or twice a month, it could be due to:
Excessive grooming (often from stress or skin issues)
A lack of fiber
Or just a long-haired floof being... too floofy
🩺 How to Help:
Brush regularly — especially if you’ve got a long-haired diva. Less loose fur = fewer hairballs.
Try hairball-control treats or food — fiber-rich formulas help things move along.
Encourage hydration — yes, again. Water keeps digestion smoother and hairballs less dramatic.
Check for stress triggers — boredom, change, or even annoying siblings can lead to overgrooming.
If your cat’s coughing sounds harsh, constant, or isn’t producing anything? Time to check in with the vet. Hairballs shouldn’t be a weekly event. 🐾
That’s all for this week’s tails, fur-iend!
Thanks for reading — I hope I brought some smiles to your face! Stay pawsome, and I’ll catch you in the next issue!
